The printing process is now international. It is organized with different and several jobs – the field is in large evolution – the print purchase is still very technical.
The purchase performance requires:
- The appraisal of all the existing process, norms, quality level, equipments, material, potential suppliers, alternatives… and market prices
- A purchase method (its a « new job », the technical control is not enough)
Also, only an important team, helped by a sourcing, database, and special tool could have the capacity of knowledge, evaluation and performance.
3) A follow-up, control and guarantee
The « printing process » production is very complex. Several suppliers and equipments interfere in the different steps of the product production control.
So, it requires: the strict respect of norms, follow-up, permanent quality control (in plant) and a good-end guarantee. |
